I have had every single last one of my erotic chapters pulled from dA. I'm... so angry i could spit fire.

Explain to me this - WHY have an erotic prose catagory if you ban all erotica? Honestly, no no, i mean it, seriously? Why? What's the point?!!!

There is a difference between EROTICA and PORN. Erotica has Literary merit. It has plot, storyline, emotion, character developement, story developement, hell! It has ALL that stuff! And all of my stories had that in spades, as my comments suggested repeatedly by people who talked more about the characters rather then the sexual scenes. Which is funny, honestly, because the chapters they pulled actually contained zero penetration! :laughs softly:

I'm just sickened by the entire ordeal. The reality is, they don't want an erotic catagory, and furthermore, they don't want a YAOI Erotic catagory. Nothing involving gay men has any right to be up here, so far as they are concerned. And what's so funny, was my group ID YaoiLit-Club, had just last night contacted support desk to find out what exactly i had to do to make sure i didnt get banned for posting things of erotic nature since really the term erotic as a catagory versus the no explicit sexuality deal is very confusing! And they told me its by "case by case" and "there is nothing set in stone." and basically what happens one day may not happen the next day. How freaking ridiculous is that? So, basically, i could get banned for using my judgement which the dA staff do not agree with, and even though the rule isnt set in stone, i would be at fault - even though!! I would have no way of knowing i was doing wrong - i was just doingw hat they said in use my judgement. I'd get banned. I don't find this fair even in the least or remotely or anything! I find it horribly unfair! Well, after contacting with that ID, i come onto my Sachiaiko ID and find that all of my work has been removed. So, clearly after the conversations with me they decided to "check me out to make sure" and penalized me. Whatever. No matter. I have far better places to post my erotica. I'm just ticked I spent 8 bucks for a 3 months subscription.

So, fine, whatever. You know what? that's fine. I'll just put a link to all my work here in my journal where you guys can read the first few chapters unhindered by ridiculous rules that have no merit and make absolutely no sense.

Sooooo, I actually made 400 Page views! WOOHOO! I think this is in large part to the kindness of the YaoiLovers Admin in linking their wonderful members to my site, and honestly guys, thanks for coming over and peeking at my book and leaving me he notes and comments that you have. I am so insanely excited to begin recieving those beautiful peices of FanArt. Oh and you're more then welcome to send me line art or unfinished copies if you'd like feedback! It's fine by me

Anyhow, 400 page views is pretty damn excelent when i only started actually trying to get page views about ten days ago. It says i've been a member here for over two years, but reality is that i made the account in large part a couple years ago to save my name, sachiaiko, just in case I ever felt the inclination to actually be a member here. Thank god i did, though to be honest with you about 1 out of 100 sites i try and join has my name used. And about 49 out of 50 of those sites are actually ME and i forgot i signed up for them. lol.

Okie, hrm. My Health? It's no better, but my spirits are high. In fact, to be honest with you if i were to tell the truth, i'd say my health has gotten quite a bit worse over the last ten days. I see the doc in a few days, and i'm very thankful because i'm afraid by how ill i am. I'm sort of feeling like my body is dying around my mind, and thats a really scary feeling to have when you're only 24. I have to lift my own legs into bed when i sit down, that ain't normal man. It ain't normal.

I am really enjoying the dA community, though. I enjoy the forums, I enjoy everything, the art, the tutorials, the kindness of the people. One really sweet guy, ~Geeky1 actually spent all this time researching computers for me for when i go to school. I mean, hard core, 3+ pages worth of info that he gave me that he really did not need to waste his time on, but he did out of the goodness of his heart. I think the world of this person, so if you get a chance go over and check out his gallery!! He's brand new to dA so he needs a warm welcome, especially since he's been so warm to those of us already members here!! And if you need ANY computer help, this is definately the guy to ask. He's basically a Techi-God.

Aaanyhow, Last bit i suppose is that i am working on the first draft of a letter i'm writing to my father and his wife about me going to school. Its long, a bit angsty, but over all i'm hoping it has a possitive impact. Honestly, they don't believe i'm sick which is a little hard. And No "specialist doctor is gonna tell them any different!!" Is pretty much the way they feel about it. :rolls eyes: Hopefully they will get past this ignorance long enough to see they've been incorrect, but even if they don't i think they'll still pay for school because its the one thing they always swore they'd do for my brother and i, and i never doubted. So, let us hope! :cheer:

As some of you know, Slave to Love has been picked up by a publisher. That means that it’s getting published FOR REAL! Woohoo!! Well, I’ve posted the first chapter here, and I think I’ll be posting a couple more chapters so you folks can get a better idea of the characters and the story line before the book actually comes out. So, the contests, both of them, revolve around this book, Slave to Love, which is BDSM themed as well as polyamorous and Yaoi! (lotsa kink, here, lol)

Weeell, let’s see, I’ll do a real Journal Entry since I got tagged by Plankhead and I’m spost to answer back all his strange questions anyhow. :laughs: I have good info anyhow, which I’m excited over!!

Well, FIRST off, I started a club of my own since there didn’t seem to be one out there for the Yaoi Lit Lovers!! So, its ~YaoiLit-Club and for those of you who wanna see this club grow so you have more wonderful yaoi stories to read I suggest you join so we can get it going nice and strong! Also, it’s in need of an Avatar really badly, so if any of you guys are good at making Avatars for this type of thing, I could definitely use the help in that department. Doesn’t have to be overly flashy or fancy, but it should say YaoiLit-Club on it and it should fit the Yaoi theme, ya know?

Then, next on the list is I had the idea to just put myself out there for a few pieces of short work for a writer on the forums. I got myself a few smaller jobs, which I’m very excited about. One is a larger job which is takin’ longer then expected, but that’s alright and it’ll all work out in the end. I was freaking out because I was down to a couple pack of smokes, zero money and NO idea what to do, and getting a little bit of paypal compensation for some nice writing jobs will be really wonderful and helpful for me.

So I’m excited over that, definitely! One of the jobs is re-writing the content of a website to be a bit more professional, which is super fun because I really enjoy that type of writing. Another is some fanfic stories, and just stuff like that. I’m happy, and though it does cut a little bit into my time to write for my publisher I need to make a tiny bit of monies now or I’ll be in trouble! So! Yay!! I’m proud of myself!

But, what’s probably the most exciting thing that I’ve decided in the last few days of all has been the fact that I have decided that I AM going to college. I recently accomplished my dream, which was to be a published author. I’m in the process of being published now, and I will continue to write for this wonderful publisher as long as they want me, and so far, they’ve indicated that they really enjoy me and my style and will sign the books I want to give them. So I will continue to spend much of my time writing, of course, but I am no longer going to let being sick hold me back from my other dream which is to go to school.

I love school, I love to learn, I love it ALMOST as much as I love to write, so to be able to do BOTH things is like an absolute dream come true. I didn’t realize that I could attend the Art Institute ONLINE!! So I’ve decided that I’m going to finish getting either my GED or HS Diploma, something I was never able to get due to the fact I was so sick, and I’m going to go to this online school. See, my dad always said that if I go to school he’ll pay for it all, all my equipment, all my classes, and even help with my living. I was just never well enough to go to a conventional school!

Well, now I don’t HAVE To go to a conventional school, but I can still go to a GOOD school. So what I think I’m going to do is start out trying for my AS in Graphic Design, with the goal being going for my BS if I possibly can, plus add on a certificate course for web design, which is only 36 credits. I would really like to learn how to design my own book covers and do beautiful art and stuff on the computer and in real mediums, and after I get close to completing for my AS I will decide if I’m well enough to go for my BS. I really believe 110 percent that I can accomplish this! I really, really do.

If I can set up my bedroom with my bed, make up a special desk that is laid out on my bed and folds up at night, with everything I need on a nice lovely book shelf against the wall within reach, I should be able to do it all and finish. I can do the classes at ANY time of day, so basically my random dozing off problem won’t affect me in this particular situation. I don’t see how I can loose! I just have to be careful not to take more credits than I can handle each term. That’s it, other than that, I should be able to do well, PLUS have plenty of time to write! EGADS I’m so excited! :bounces happily:

And so long as I keep passing, my father will keep paying. We may not get along, we may not even like each other, but school is one thing they always promised to pay for, no matter what we had going between us. So I’m hoping that will stick to that promise, and I believe that they will. With this, plus my disability checks, AND my Royalty checks, I hope to be able to move out of my God Fathers, find a good room mate, and start living my life again. “Excited” Isn’t a strong enough word. Truly.

Sooo, that’s my Nikki-Update. For those of you who would like to take graphics design courses but are too busy for a normal kinda school, you should definitely check out the art institute online also. They have a lot of fun and very nifty programs!! Yay! I get to learn all kindsa arts! :does little happy dances:

Five of my weird habits:
1. I suck my thumb still at night.
2. I have special satin pieces of clothe (that used to be shirts) I’ve had for 15 years that are like my “security” blankets. :hides:
3. It can take me up to 15 hours to finish a can of soda due to a small tummy from weight loss surgery, so I carry them around with me. Hehe. (down 210 pounds, woohoo!)
4. I will scour markets for FRESH Salmon so I can get it home and cut it up into sashimi. VERY weird for an American translucent white girl. Most folks around me stare at me like I’m a freak, but damnit, I LOVE sashimi (raw fish) with soy sauce and a lil rice, mmmm. Now I’m hungry.
5. When I was a child, one of my first words was “eyeball” And for some reason, I thought it was the funniest word in the world. I’d say, “Guess what? Guess what!?” and my mom would say, “What?” “EYEBALL!!” I’d shriek at the top of my lungs, then start WAILING with laughter. I’d do that like three or four times before bed. Now, even as a 24 year old adult, I kinda like eyeballs, lol :hides:

Yep. I'll write just about anything for you for varying length in DA subscriptions or an item on either my DA wishlist or my Amazon.com wishlist, paypal, Emocorp.com and last but not least an ebay gift certificate, and I think that’s about it.

Things I'm often asked for:

1) a good background on an RP character or Description (which, yes, I’ve done numerous times. Give me a few basics and creative leeway and I’ll make a short story that is all about your character that will give you a stable and helpful foundation for your to RP your character to the absolute fullest of your ability. Or, I’ll just get you out of having to write a good Desc/background to be accepted into some games. This is actually VERY commonly asked of me.) Depending on depth wanted/needed this generally ranges from $5-10

2) I'll write a letter to a lover/loved one. Or an eloquent speech to some one who's harassing you or help desk or anyone of importance. Depending on depth wanted/needed and time this generally ranges from $5-10

3) I'll write a short story for you of erotic nature, or not erotic either is fine, yaoi, straight, yuri (this will of course cost more as this is my profession, and I can get 150 a pop for my short stories. But for a short short that's basically just a few scenes revolving around you and a partner, or a fantasy partner, it’s workable and for DA I’m gonna be a lot more reasonable.) General Price for this is too varied to list. We'll need to talk about it.

4) A Sales or 'Pitch' Letter. Depending upon the research involved/time/depth/length generally $5-10

5) An article of some sort, for a Google adsense site, or something else. The amount of information I have to research myself will effect the price of this, of course. Depending on the research involved/time/depth/length of art. This generally ranges from $10-35
